5 things I love about my 2022 RAM 2500 Power wagon with the 6.4 hemi is the amazing off road 4wd lock performance. the front and rear locking diffs along with the winch are fantastic. The RAM interiors are the best and better then ford or GMC has to offer. The Power wagon is the least expensive off road heavy duty truck. And it has the best looking exterior styling. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I apologize about the delay with the videos but we are crazy busy getting ready for our big move. regardless I figured we could talk about 5 things I love about my 2022 ram 2500 power wagon. I have owned this truck for a little over 6 months and in that time these are the 5 things I absolutely love about this truck. 1. The off road capability. the power wagon comes with incredible off road ready components including 2 fully locking differentials. a heavy duty locking transfer case. a 12,000 lbs winch, disconnecting sway bar, 2 inch factory lift, 4.10 gears and some beefy skid plates. all put together this truck gives me incredible confidence when off road and I love it. one of the main reason I bought this truck 2. the interior is top notch. out performs Chevrolet, GMC and ford. it is comfy and one of the best features about this power wagon 3. the exterior look of the power wagon is 10/10 I think RAM nailed the design. it looks aggressive yet distinguished at the same time and it is really one of the best looking vehicles on the road. 4. Price. so these heavy duty trucks are all expensive but the power wagon seems to be fairly inexpensive when looking at it's competitors like the ford f250 tremor and the GMC AT4 which are all considerably more expensive. 5. the ride quality for a 2500 is exceptional. I did not expect this truck with a solid front axle to ride so well. it really is a joy to drive and does not bang you around like a normal ram 2500 does. I hope you guys liked the video!

OSR Garage took a Ride in the 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon! The Ram Power Wagon is a heavy-duty pickup truck manufactured by Ram Trucks, a division of Stellantis (formerly known as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). The Power Wagon is based on the Ram 2500 and is designed for off-road use with features such as a solid front axle, electronic locking differentials, and a disconnecting sway bar. I Discuss the off-road upgrades of each power wagon level and weather or not it's worth it to upgrade your power wagon level from factory. I hope everyone is having a good week! I was always curious what exactly the power wagon levels where and what exactly where in them as off road options. so I started with the base level truck and you get a ton of offroad options standard like the locking differentials, warn winch, 2 inch factory lift. wrangler duratrac all terrain tires and many more goodies. Level 1 power wagon level: so this package is the least expensive and comes with a couple of cool option liked heated seats and heated steering wheel but unfortunately no actually offroad or mechanical upgrades Level 2 power wagon equipment package: - like the Level 1 this option althought packed with tons of cool tech and options has no off road or mechanical upgrades Level 3 Power Wagon Equipment Package: - Here we see our first off road difference. This package includes the electric 4wd shifter and gets rid of the manual stick on the floor. However this is the only things that really changes. there are 0bviously tons and tons of options with this package and this would basicly be equivalent to a fully loaded truck. there is a final package availible called the "off-road package". and this is where you get the bead locking rims and mopar rail guards for your rockers. this is a cool little package. so it seems like the power wagon levels are just trim levels and have little to do with the off road ability of the truck. it would be cool to see ram actually have off road levels for the power wagon but maybe down the road. If you have around $60,000 to spend on a large off-road pickup truck, you're going to end up thinking Ford F-150 Raptor vs. Ram Power Wagon. These are the two most off-road-capable trucks from their respective brands, but they go about their business in two very different ways. This video shows the differences and similarities, and it explains the purpose of each truck. Born for high speeds through loose terrain and high-flying antics, the 2019 Ford Raptor is like an off-road sports car. Its Stadium Super Truck-like stance provides tons of clearance, while the powerful twin-turbo V6 kicks out satisfying acceleration. The width can become a problem when driving the Raptor off-road. It's substantially wider than the Power Wagon, so you have to plan your routes carefully through narrow trails. Though the Ram Power Wagon is not as adept at high speeds, driving it off-road reveals that its other attributes make up for that deficit. It rides taller and gains articulation through a disconnecting front sway bar. Locking front and rear differentials offer more control, while the integrated winch solidifies this truck's intentions: work. Couple these strengths with strong payload and towing figures, and you have a truck that's ready for any kind of adventure you throw at it. About the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor: The off-road-focused F-150 Raptor uses the same high-output version of the turbocharged 3.5-liter engine as the Limited. It has many of the same features as the XLT, but it offers a reinforced frame, a special four-wheel-drive system, a modified long-travel suspension, Fox shocks, flared fenders, skid plates, 17-inch wheels with upgraded off-road tires, and special interior trim with leather and cloth upholstery. The Raptor offers many of the same options as the XLT and the Lariat, as well as a few exterior styling packages, a Torsen limited-slip front differential and forged, bead-lock capable wheels. It has some slightly different exterior and interior styling changes, but it's the extensive mechanical upgrades that make a Power Wagon. I test out my 2022 RAM 2500 Power Wagon with the 6.4 HEMI's Towing ability. I tow 80% (8,200 lbs) of the Power Wagon max towing capacity and see how it compares to my old RAM 1500. the conclusion is that this 2022 RAM Power Wagon CAN tow and it is actually really good at towing, In other words "SHE PULLS"!! He figured it would be an awesome test for this truck to see if its any good at towing. the total weight was probably a little north for 8,000lbs. the trailer was 3,200 and the skid steer was slightly under 5,000 but we were not sure how much the bucket weighed. Either way it was a great weight to test out this trucks towing ability. first we had to two this skid steer out of the bush which meant that I had to be in 4wd lock because the road was pretty snowy and had some good hills. at some points all 4 wheels were spinnning up hills which was kinda sketchy but that's the beauty of the Power Wagon, it has an awesome 4x4 set up for situations just like this. After we got out of the bush we had a long highway drive down to around Toronto. this is where I figured we could truly see whether or not this Power Wagon was any good at towing when at highway speeds. this is where this truck settled nicely. this truck was very comfortable with this load behind. lots of power, I could easily pass people if needed. the truck road very smoothly and the trailer was not pushing me around at all. very impressive for a truck that apparently isn't good at towing. Fuel mileage was 10 mpg for the trip which I thought wasnt too bad. I compared this truck alot to my old 1500 in this video because the towing numbers are very similar to a 1500 but I just felt way more confident towing with this truck then I ever did with my 1500. anyways guys I hope you like the video!

2021 RAM 2500 Power Wagon goes into Deep Mud for the first time and tests out 4wd system. This truck is so good off-road and its 4x4 system is the one of the best money can buy. the mud track I drive is very deep and sticky giving this off road king a good challenge but when 4wd high this power wagon is so capable off road it can drive through anything including snow and now deep MUD. But as you guys will see this little truck is a complete beast and get doesn't get stuck. I was kind of hoping I could use the winch on my Power Wagon today if the ridgeline got too stuck in the mud and use it to pull it out but the ridgeline held its own and we didn't need to do that. so then it was time for the PW to run this mud course and as you may have all expected it couldn't be stopped. this truck is so capable off road and you feel so confident off road driving it. I didnt even need to use 4 low or lock any differentials. the Limited slip differential in the rear worked very well and the true locking transfercase made a huge difference. I've run this mud road before in my ram 1500 and it made it but I had to be careful and really navigate through the deep mud holes. but with this Power wagon having such great ground clearance and such great off road capabilities I never had to really worry about getting stuck. I have so much more stuff to do with this truck and I can't wait! I hope you guys enjoyed the video!
I review my 2022 RAM 2500 power wagon and talk about 5 things I hate about the truck. No Cummins diesel engine option is obviously the most talked about negative about this power wagon but there are other things that I don't like either 1. The fuel economy on this truck is absolutely garbage, its terrible. I'm averaging about 12MPG and that's mostly country driving. the 6.4 hemi is a good engine but it is thirty and loves to burn alot of fuel. so make sure if you buy this ram 2500 with the 6.4 hemi you have a lot of fuel budgeted 2. electronic 4wd switch sucks. until recently these power wagon trucks could only come with 4wd floor shifters to make sure it always worked. electronic shifter are fine but are more likely to fail when you need them most off-road! 3. side steps. as you guys saw in the video these side steps were mounted directly onto the bottom of the rocker without anything regard for damaging the pain. this truck was 2 weeks old and already had paint damage and had rubbed through to bare metal. this would have rusted in a year and probably completely rusted out in 5-10 years 4. the payload sucks on these ram 2500 power wagons. maximum payload of 1500 lbs is pretty bad. but you can't have an awesome off-road machine and have crazy stiff suspension either. so it is what it is. and this goes for the max towing capacity of 10,500 also. the suspension is too soft to handle any more 5. Hemi tick. the dreaded hemi tick is also an issues on the 6.4 hemi's. obviously this truck is brand new and there is no tick but it sucks that these engine are know for that because it's a big job if your hemi engine develops it!
